Pony Plus needs to be fed in conjunction with a minimum of 1 kg/100 kg BW of hay, chaff and/or pasture (Pony Plus is well suited to being fed with low to average quality hay for horses or ponies on a weight loss diet).
Suggested feeding rates should be used as a guide only.
Feed by weight and not by volume.
Provide access to a salt lick and clean fresh water at all times.

Diet plays a crucial role in the management of metabolic conditions, so proper nutrition is vital when managing horses with conditions such as laminitis, cushing’s disease, insulin resistance and obesity. Feeds that contain readily available sugar and starch (sweet feed and grain) should be avoided, as excessive starch and sugar intake can trigger or worsen metabolic conditions.
